The Gathering Storm
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
You have stood in a field like this one — the air gone still, the light turning strange, a wall of cloud swirling up from the horizon while birds scatter ahead of the weather. That held breath before the first drop is the whole composition here: storm clouds coiling overhead in dense Art Nouveau lines, a flock crossing the midground, pine trees dark on the hills, and rolled golden fields running down to a winding path. It is a memory of being small under a big sky.
Laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows each swirling cloud line at 0.1mm precision, holding the intricate spiral patterns and the fine ribbon of birds without breaking them apart. Every element — clouds, trees, the grasses in the foreground — stays structurally connected in one continuous piece. No welding, no assembly, no separate parts joined afterward. The panel arrives whole and wall-ready.
Light completes the scene. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, the steel casts a layered shadow that doubles the swirling clouds — once in metal, once in shade. As daylight moves through the room the storm shifts character: crisp and graphic in direct morning sun, soft and brooding by evening. The flat illustration becomes something that breathes with the wall behind it, a quality no print or canvas can match.
Four finishes carry the mood differently. Matte black gives the sharpest, most ominous silhouette against a light wall; matte white softens the drama for calmer interiors; raw steel with a clear protective coat adds an industrial, weathered grain; and corten rust develops a warm earthen patina over weeks and months, echoing the plowed fields below. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, scaled to the original proportions. Weight ranges from roughly 1.5 to 8 kg. All finish and sizing details live in the craft and delivery guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dramatic storm clouds swirling above a rural landscape — rolled golden fields, silhouetted pine trees on the hills, a flock of birds crossing the sky, and a winding path through the grasses. Rendered in intricate Art Nouveau-inspired linework, it captures the held breath before a storm breaks over open country.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. The entire design — every swirling cloud line, every bird, every blade of grass — remains one continuous, structurally connected piece. No welding or assembly required.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap creates a floating effect with a layered shadow behind the steel that shifts as daylight moves through the room.
Four options: Matte Black for the sharpest, most ominous silhouette, Matte White for calmer and lighter interiors, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for an industrial weathered grain, and Corten Rust for a warm earthen patina that develops naturally over months.
Five sizes preserving the original proportions: S (45 cm), M (60 cm), L (80 cm), XL (100 cm), and XXL (130 cm) on the longer side. Given the wide format, the shorter side scales accordingly. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 kg to 8 kg depending on size.
