Wings spread wide, talons reaching down, a raven cuts through swirling mist — caught mid-flight in the instant before it vanishes into fog. There is something in this bird that lives in old stories: the messenger, the watcher, the dark omen circling overhead. Cut from a single sheet of 2mm steel, the outstretched feathers, the curved beak, the extended claws all stay connected in one continuous piece. The silhouette reads from across the room — unmistakable, mysterious, alive with motion held still.

Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows each wing feather and tendril of mist with 0.1mm precision, fine enough to preserve the separation between primary feathers and the taper of the talons. Every line is engineered to remain structurally connected to the whole, so the raven holds together as one piece across all five sizes — no welding, no joins, no backing required. One sheet of steel, wall-ready straight from the box.

Light does the rest. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, the panel casts a layered shadow behind the steel. The raven seems to lift off the surface as the light shifts through the day — sharper in direct morning sun, softer and more atmospheric as evening settles in. The mist tendrils throw faint echoes onto the wall, deepening the sense of the bird emerging from fog. It is a quality flat prints and canvas cannot approach.

Four finishes to set the mood: matte black for the sharpest, most ominous silhouette against light walls, matte white for a quieter inversion of the gothic motif, raw steel with a clear protective coat for industrial grain, or corten rust for a weathered patina that deepens naturally over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg depending on design complexity. All finishes and sizing details are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Part of the animals collection. For more from the wildlife selection, see the Seated Zebra or the Tiger Fur Texture panel.

Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of steel — no assembly, no seams.

The result is a shadow-casting sculpture that transforms any wall into a gallery.
