The Rhino in Profile
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
A heavy head turned sideways, the curved front horn rising against the light, the eye fixed on something beyond the frame. This is presence held still — an animal that carries the weight of an entire continent in the set of its jaw. Cut from a single sheet of 2mm steel, every wrinkle of that ancient skin, every fold of the neck, the raised ear and the small rear horn stay connected in one continuous piece. From across the room it reads as quiet power; up close, the texture of the skin pulls you in.
Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows the rhinoceros profile with 0.1mm precision — fine enough to hold the deep creases of the hide and the line where horn meets muzzle. Each detail is engineered to remain structurally connected to the whole, so the panel holds its shape across every size. One piece of steel, no welding, no assembly, wall-ready out of the box.
Light does the rest. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, ambient light casts a layered shadow behind the steel. The head appears to lift away from the surface as the light moves through the day — sharper in direct morning sun, softer and heavier in the evening. It is a living quality that flat prints and canvas cannot approach, and one that changes the character of the panel with every shift in light.
Four finishes to match the room: matte black for the sharpest profile and the most dramatic contrast against light walls, matte white for a calmer presence in bright interiors, raw steel with a clear protective coat for industrial warmth and a subtle metallic grain, or corten rust for a weathered, earthen texture that suits the safari subject and deepens naturally over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg depending on size. All finishes and sizing details are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
A rhinoceros head seen in profile, with the prominent curved front horn, smaller rear horn, raised ear, and the deep wrinkles of its weathered skin. The gaze is fixed sideways — still, heavy, and quietly powerful. Every anatomical detail, from neck folds to muzzle, remains connected in one continuous piece of steel.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. The entire design is one continuous, structurally connected piece — every skin fold and horn line included. No welding or assembly required, and the panel arrives ready to mount.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap creates a floating effect with a layered shadow behind the steel that shifts throughout the day as the light moves through the room.
Four options: Matte Black for the sharpest profile and dramatic contrast, Matte White for a calmer presence on bright walls, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for industrial warmth, and Corten Rust for a weathered, earthen patina that suits the safari subject and develops naturally over months.
