Light Against the Shadow
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
One hand raised in warding, the other gripping the patriarchal cross. Behind him, a horned shape reaches out of the dark with clawed fingers and burning eyes. This is the moment of confrontation — divine light holding its ground against the thing that crowds in from the edges. Cut from a single sheet of 2mm steel, the haloed head of Christ, the long fall of hair and beard, the open palm, and the demon's grasping hands all stay connected in one continuous piece. The tension reads instantly, from across the room.
Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows the Byzantine-inspired contours with 0.1mm precision — fine enough to hold the textured rays of the halo, the double bar of the patriarchal cross, and the thin claws emerging from shadow. Every line is engineered to remain structurally connected to the whole, so the silhouette holds its shape across all five sizes. One piece of steel, no welding, no assembly, wall-ready.
Light finishes the composition. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, ambient light casts a layered shadow behind the steel — fitting for a scene built on the meeting of light and dark. The demon's shadow doubles in the wall behind it; Christ's halo throws a soft corona. As the sun moves through the day, the contrast sharpens and softens, and the panel shifts in character. It is a living quality that flat prints and canvas cannot reach.
Four finishes to set the mood: matte black for the starkest contrast and the most dramatic silhouette against light walls, matte white for a quieter presence in a meditation space, raw steel with a clear protective coat for a warm metallic grain, or corten rust for a weathered, icon-like patina that deepens naturally over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg. All finishes and sizing details are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Jesus Christ with a halo raises his right hand in a warding gesture while grasping a patriarchal cross, as a horned demon reaches from the shadows behind him. It is a scene of confrontation between divine light and encroaching darkness — the moment of standing firm, frozen in 2mm steel with every line connected.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. The entire composition — halo, cross, figure, and demon — remains one continuous, structurally connected piece. No welding or assembly required.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap creates a floating effect with a layered shadow behind the steel that shifts throughout the day, deepening the contrast between light and dark.
Four options: Matte Black for the starkest contrast and most dramatic silhouette, Matte White for a quieter presence in meditation spaces, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for a warm metallic grain, and Corten Rust for a weathered, icon-like patina that develops naturally over months.
