Eyes closed, hands pressed together, a veil drawn over the head and a halo resting above it — this is devotion held in a single quiet gesture. The praying figure does not perform; it withdraws inward, into the stillness that comes before words. Cut from one continuous sheet of 2mm steel, every fold of the robe and every line of the bowed face stays connected. The clasped hands read first, then the serene expression, then the circle of the halo — the whole composition resolving the moment you step closer.

Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The beam follows the linocut-style contours with 0.1mm precision — fine enough to preserve the intricate folds of the flowing robe and the soft curve of the closed eyes. The negative space between the fingers, the gap around the halo, the line work of the veil: each element is engineered to remain structurally bound to the whole. One piece of steel, no welding, no assembly, wall-ready out of the box.

Light completes the figure. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, the panel casts a layered shadow that doubles the prayer gesture — once in metal, once in shadow. As daylight moves through a prayer room or living space, the shadow lengthens and softens, and the figure seems to breathe with the hour. It is a depth that flat icons and printed reproductions cannot hold, shifting from sharp at midday to quiet and atmospheric by evening.

Four finishes carry the mood: matte black for the sharpest devotional silhouette against a pale wall, matte white for a gentle presence in bright sanctuaries and bedrooms, raw steel with a clear protective coat for a grounded, material warmth, or corten rust for a weathered patina that deepens over months like aged church metalwork. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from roughly 1.5 to 8 kg. Finish and sizing details live in the craft and delivery guide.

Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of steel — no assembly, no seams.

The result is a shadow-casting sculpture that transforms any wall into a gallery.
