Stag in the Mist
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
Dawn hasn't burned off the fog yet. The stag stands on a rocky ledge, antlers branched against the pale grey, watching something you can't see. There is a stillness here — the kind that belongs to the hour before the woods wake, when breath shows in the cold air and nothing moves except the mist rising off the ground. This is the place we go back to in memory: a quiet wood, a creature that knows we're there and waits. Cut from a single sheet of 2mm steel, that watchfulness holds permanently.
Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows each tine of the antlers and the silhouetted trunks of the pines with 0.1mm precision. The tufts of grass on the rocky outcrop, the tapering trees fading into fog — all of it stays connected in one continuous piece. No welding, no assembly, no separate parts joined afterward. CNC engineering keeps the panel structurally sound across all five sizes, holding its shape without backing or reinforcement.
Light does the rest. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, ambient light casts a layered shadow behind the steel. The stag and the trees gain depth as the light moves through the day — the antlers throwing sharp shadows in direct morning sun, the whole scene softening into atmosphere by evening. It is a living quality flat prints and canvas cannot approach, one that deepens the sense of mist and distance built into the composition.
Four finishes to match the room: matte black for the sharpest silhouette and the strongest contrast against light walls, matte white for a calmer presence in a cabin or den, raw steel with a clear protective coat for industrial warmth and a subtle metallic grain, or corten rust for a weathered woodland texture that deepens naturally over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg depending on design complexity. All finishes and sizing are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
A male deer with large branched antlers, standing alert on a rocky outcrop and gazing forward into rising mist. Tall pines fade into fog behind him. The scene captures the quiet of an early woodland morning — mysterious and serene, frozen in 2mm steel with every antler tine and tree trunk connected in one continuous piece.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. The entire design — the stag, the antlers, the pines, the rocky ledge — remains one continuous, structurally connected piece. No welding or assembly required, and it holds its shape without any backing.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap creates a floating effect with a layered shadow behind the steel that shifts throughout the day, deepening the sense of mist and distance in the scene.
Four options: Matte Black for the sharpest silhouette and strongest contrast, Matte White for a calmer presence in a cabin or den, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for industrial warmth, and Corten Rust for a weathered woodland patina that develops naturally over months.
Five sizes preserving original proportions: S (45 cm), M (60 cm), L (80 cm), XL (100 cm), and XXL (130 cm) on the longer side. The shorter side follows the composition's aspect ratio. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 kg to 8 kg depending on size and design complexity.
