Heron at Dusk
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
A white heron stands motionless on a wooden boat, the lake gone glassy at dusk. Above it leans a tree of striped, layered foliage, and beyond rises a pagoda with upturned eaves — all of it mirrored in water so still the world appears twice. This is the quiet held breath before night, the moment when reflection and reality become impossible to separate. Cut from a single sheet of 2mm steel, the scene reads as one continuous landscape, the heron's poise carrying the whole composition.
Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam traces the curved trunk, the pagoda's tiered roofline, the slender reeds at the dock, and the heron's thin legs with 0.1mm precision. Each element of the reflection mirrors the form above it, yet every bridge of metal is engineered to keep the design structurally whole. One continuous piece — no welding, no assembly, no separate parts joined afterward.
Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, the panel casts a layered shadow behind the steel. The doubled imagery — tree and reflection, pagoda and its echo — gains a third dimension as ambient light shifts through the day. Sharper at midday, softer and more contemplative at dusk, the panel changes character the way the scene itself describes: a calm surface registering every change in light.
Four finishes carry the mood: matte black for the cleanest silhouette and deepest contrast on pale walls, matte white for a calmer presence in Japanese-inspired and spa interiors, raw steel with a clear protective coat for a quiet metallic grain, or corten rust for a warm, weathered patina that deepens over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg. All finishes and sizing are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
A white heron standing motionless on a wooden boat at dusk, beneath a stylized layered tree and beside a pagoda with upturned eaves. A calm lake mirrors the entire scene. It captures the held-breath stillness before night, when reflection and reality blur into one — cut as a single continuous landscape in steel.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. The tree, pagoda, heron, boat and their reflections all remain one continuous, structurally connected piece. No welding or assembly required — it arrives ready to mount.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap lets the steel float and casts a layered shadow behind it, giving the doubled reflection imagery a sense of depth that shifts throughout the day.
Four options: Matte Black for the cleanest silhouette and deepest contrast, Matte White for calmer spa and Japanese-inspired interiors, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for a subtle metallic grain, and Corten Rust for a warm, weathered patina that develops naturally over months.
Five sizes preserving the original proportions: S (45 cm), M (60 cm), L (80 cm), XL (100 cm), and XXL (130 cm) on the longer side. The shorter side follows the composition's aspect ratio. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 kg to 8 kg depending on size and design complexity.
