Tangled Mind
Order today — delivery by 21 Aug
A head with no face — only a dense knot of wires where thought should sit, looping and crossing in the place we keep our private chaos. There are no eyes to meet, no mouth to read. What you recognize instead is something quieter and stranger: the feeling of a mind too full to untangle, rendered as a single continuous run of 2mm steel. Every wire in the cranial tangle, every line tracing the neck and shoulders, stays connected — the disorder is structural, deliberate, held together by the same material that suggests it.
Laser-cut from low-carbon steel in a Polish workshop. The cutting beam follows each wire of the abstraction with 0.1mm precision, threading the dense network in the cranial area without breaking the silhouette of the head or the slope of the shoulders. Every loop is engineered to remain bridged to the whole, so the chaos reads as one piece rather than fragments. No welding, no assembly, no separate strands joined afterward — one sheet of steel, wall-ready.
Light completes the effect. Mounted on standoff spacers 15mm from the wall, the panel casts a layered shadow behind the steel — the wire tangle doubled, once in metal and once in cast shadow, so the head seems to hold a second, ghostly version of itself. As ambient light shifts through the day, the shadow loosens and tightens, sharper in direct sun, deeper and more uncertain in the evening. A flat print cannot hold this kind of depth.
Four finishes shape the mood: matte black for the eeriest, most graphic contrast against a light wall, matte white for a softer presence in a modern interior, raw steel with a clear protective coat for an industrial metallic grain, or corten rust for a warm, weathered patina that deepens over weeks and months. Five sizes from S (45 cm) to XXL (130 cm) on the longer side, each scaled to preserve the original proportions. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 to 8 kg. All finishes and sizing details are covered in the craft and delivery guide.

Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of steel — no assembly, no seams.
The result is a shadow-casting sculpture that transforms any wall into a gallery.

Frequently Asked Questions
A faceless human head and shoulders formed entirely from a dense tangle of thin wires. There are no eyes or features — instead, a chaotic wireframe knot fills the cranial area, suggesting a mind too full to untangle. The eerie, abstract portrait is cut as one continuous piece of 2mm steel.
Each panel is laser-cut from a single sheet of 2mm low-carbon steel. Every wire of the tangled abstraction remains one continuous, structurally connected piece, bridged so the chaos holds together without breaking apart. No welding or assembly required.
The panel ships with standoff spacers and wall anchors. Mount the spacers to the wall, then attach the panel. The 15mm gap creates a floating effect with a layered shadow behind the steel — the wire tangle doubled in metal and cast shadow, shifting throughout the day.
Four options: Matte Black for the eeriest, most graphic contrast against light walls, Matte White for a softer presence in modern interiors, Raw Steel with a clear protective coat for an industrial metallic grain, and Corten Rust for a warm, weathered patina that develops naturally over months.
Five sizes scaled to preserve the original proportions: S (45 cm), M (60 cm), L (80 cm), XL (100 cm), and XXL (130 cm) on the longer side. Weight ranges from approximately 1.5 kg to 8 kg depending on size and design complexity.
